Base Salary
$205k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the ultimate product expert and technical advisor for Sales and Customer Success.
- Thoroughly understand and demonstrate the Gong platform to various users.
- Act as a trusted advisor to ensure customers achieve value from Gong technology.
- Assist with business assessments, including POCs and pilots.
- Create content to showcase Gong's use cases for customers.
- Deliver outcome-based demos and solution architecture for complex use cases.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into simple terms.
- Support RFPs and questionnaires during sales cycles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to eliminate bottlenecks in the sales process.
- Partner with Marketing on demand generation activities.
- Contribute reusable assets to the Sales Engineering team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of customer-facing experience in a solution engineering role or relevant experience.
- Experience with sales technology such as CRMs, cloud architecture, or telephony systems.
- Familiarity with data flows, AI & ML concepts, analytics, APIs, webhooks, or JSON is a plus.
- Understanding of security and privacy in SaaS systems.
- Knowledge of key sales personas and workflows within a GTM organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts.
