Base Salary
$119k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture decisions for scalable, reliable, maintainable, secure, and production-ready Intelligence Platform systems.
- Drive project delivery by establishing milestones, ownership, timelines, quality expectations, and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate technical direction and execution for a seven-person engineering pod while mentoring teammates and raising engineering standards.
- Partner with product, design, engineering, and senior stakeholders to align on technical plans, tradeoffs, and delivery decisions.
- Contribute to the codebase and review designs and implementations.
- Identify risks, remove blockers, clarify ownership, and facilitate collaboration across initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems or platform initiatives.
- Strong technical architecture skills and experience designing scalable systems and guiding implementation across multiple engineers.
- Track record of leading complex projects from planning through delivery with clear milestones and high-quality outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder-management, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Experience providing technical leadership through mentorship, team coordination, execution planning, and cross-functional communication.
- Hands-on engineering mindset with the ability to balance coding with broader technical and team leadership responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
