Responsibilities
- Build Java microservices with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Contribute to microservice redesign and Java 17/21 migration initiatives.
- Develop React or Angular frontends integrated with backend APIs.
- Implement Apache Kafka event-driven flows, including producers, consumers, and dead-letter queues.
- Design APIs with OpenAPI documentation.
- Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them on AKS or Azure App Service.
- Drive vulnerability remediation and secure coding aligned with OWASP Top 10.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Write JUnit, Mockito, integration, Jest, and Cypress tests.
- Use AI-assisted tools for code development, refactoring, testing, dependency upgrades, CVE analysis, and Java migration while reviewing generated code for correctness and security.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of software engineering experience, including at least four years with a strong Java focus.
- Strong Java 11+ skills and knowledge of Java 17/21.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Production experience with microservices and Apache Kafka event-driven systems.
- Experience with React or Angular, Azure deployment, and Docker.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent; the posting also lists BTECH, MBA, MTECH, or MCA qualifications.
- Preferred experience includes gRPC, Neo4j or graph databases, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, service mesh, DevSecOps, regulated industries, Redis, Elasticsearch, and API gateways.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent AI development tools and strong prompt engineering skills is expected.
