Responsibilities
- Provide high-level application software development services and technical support to internal business groups.
- Design, develop, test, integrate, document, and maintain efficient full-stack software applications.
- Analyze, design, and develop test and test-automation suites, and participate in code reviews.
- Apply security and privacy principles and evaluate compliance with organizational technology standards.
- Consult with IT management and technical staff on emerging technologies, application requirements, implementation challenges, and business issues.
- Contribute to corporate implementation and integration strategies for new technologies.
- Mentor junior-level engineers and advocate for innovative technology solutions.
- Select and implement vendor-specific methodologies and apply structured consulting methodologies.
- Complete required training and use learning tools such as Pluralsight for professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 10–14 years of software development experience.
- Thorough knowledge of both frontend and backend web development.
- Proficiency with C#, Java, HTML, Node.js, CSS, JSON, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of security principles, relational databases, architecture design principles, application frameworks, and containerization.
- Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
- Broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
- Strong communication, organization, teamwork, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
