Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
- Build back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, JPA/Hibernate, and database technologies.
- Develop front-end applications using ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern frameworks.
- Evolve infrastructure and deployment pipelines using containerized platforms and CI/CD tooling.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical decision-making.
- Implement unit testing and secure coding practices to improve software quality and reduce vulnerabilities.
- Work with messaging, observability, and monitoring technologies in support of reliable digital solutions.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, JPA/Hibernate, and Test-Driven Development.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern front-end development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, Wiz, Prisma, Maven or Gradle, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ or Kafka.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams within banking or financial services environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring, and making technical decisions is valued.
- Knowledge of payment systems, corporate banking, lending, or transaction banking domains is valued.
- Experience with Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, application security, secure coding, legacy modernization, Domain Driven Design, event-driven architecture, or API-led integrations is valued.
