Base Salary
$110k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand technical requirements, concepts of operation, and overall solution architecture.
- Lead and defend technical and programmatic project decisions while resolving customer expectation mismatches.
- Tailor and apply change-management and systems-engineering processes for solution implementations, including third-party applications.
- Identify technical risks to deployment plans and recommend mitigation options while assisting with project costs and schedules.
- Act as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager in customer, third-party, and internal meetings.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, post-sales, project management, application specialists, customers, software developers, and other resources.
Requirements
- High school diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field plus 6+ years of engineering or technical experience; candidates without a college degree require 8+ years of such experience.
- Alternatively, 8+ years of experience delivering public safety projects in a technical role or enterprise-level technical deployment projects.
- Excellent presentation skills and strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- High proficiency with drawing and diagramming tools such as MS Visio or similar.
- Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without employer work-permit sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a stringent fingerprint background check under the U.S. Department of Justice CJIS Security Policy.
