Responsibilities
- Design and document technical solutions based on business requirements, user stories, support tickets, and test defects.
- Build Salesforce enhancements through configuration and custom development using Flows, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
- Develop scalable backend services, trigger frameworks, asynchronous processing, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Build accessible and performant interfaces aligned with the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Perform unit testing, define functional and performance test plans, and support regression and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze applications for security compliance and participate in incident troubleshooting and after-action reviews.
- Lead discovery sessions, challenge requirements when appropriate, and translate stakeholder needs into technical roadmaps.
- Lead a pod or team through code and configuration reviews, coding standards, and mentoring of junior and mid-level engineers.
- Manage enterprise releases and multi-environment deployments using Copado and Git-based version control.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with platform-first solution architecture and scalable Salesforce implementations.
- Experience with Service Cloud, Omni-channel, Case Management, Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Voice/CTI.
- Experience with Salesforce Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, advanced trigger frameworks, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Experience designing reusable service layers, robust error handling, secure code, and bulkified code.
- Experience with accessible, reactive, and performant interfaces using the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Experience with Copado, Git-based version control, release management, deployment orchestration, and automated quality gates.
- Experience leading a technical pod or team, conducting rigorous reviews, establishing standards, and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to use AI-powered authoring tools responsibly and architect generic autonomous AI capabilities and intelligent automation.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification required or preferred as applicable; Platform Developer II and AI-related credentials are additional preferred qualifications.
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 2-5 years of related experience, or an MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of related experience.
