Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug advanced software systems and application programs.
- Lead functional projects and provide training, guidance, and task delegation to application engineers.
- Evaluate and recommend software application upgrades, patches, and new functionality.
- Assist with application design and implementation, including consultation with functional architects.
- Perform application gap analyses and feasibility studies for enhancements.
- Develop and document complex technical design specifications from requirements, user stories, support tickets, and test defects.
- Lead functional, performance, regression, and user acceptance test planning and scripting.
- Analyze applications for security protocol and audit-control compliance.
- Review and resolve escalated incident-management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field, with 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Alternatively, a related bachelor’s degree with generally 8+ years of experience or a master’s degree with generally 5+ years of experience is typically required.
- Experience designing and developing MuleSoft APIs using API-led connectivity, RAML-based REST APIs, MuleSoft connectors, and MUnit test cases.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, one-way and two-way SSL, HTTP response caching, and Object Store.
- Experience writing DataWeave transformations and MEL expressions and implementing data-processing filters.
- Experience with Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, MuleSoft CloudHub, and OpenShift for API build and deployment automation.
- Certification may be required in some areas.
