Responsibilities
- Translate Product Management requirements into engineering test documentation and plan major feature testing.
- Estimate testing effort and define testing strategies, plans, scenarios, and execution processes.
- Execute test cases, track progress, report status, and contribute to feature documentation and FS/TP reviews.
- Develop automated test scripts using scripting languages and automation harnesses.
- Configure and troubleshoot Keysight and non-Keysight equipment and debug complex issues.
- Suggest and implement improvements to automation frameworks and testing processes.
- Perform root-cause analysis and create detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and logs.
- Support customer escalations and collaborate with QA, Development, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in software QA or test automation.
- Strong scripting skills using languages such as Python or Shell and experience with automation frameworks.
- Understanding of software QA practices, SDLC, and source-code management tools such as Git.
- Experience configuring and debugging Keysight and non-Keysight equipment independently.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and systems.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Keysight or Ixia products, Jenkins, Docker, compilers, debuggers, development tools, mentoring or supervising QA engineers, Agile development environments, and AI technologies.
