Base Salary
$194k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement novel query optimization and distributed data processing algorithms.
- Analyze performance and scalability bottlenecks and resolve them.
- Design and implement high-performance systems for database requests.
- Mentor teammates and promote best practices in database usage.
- Write clean, testable code and provide feedback on peer designs.
- Document development procedures and manage project priorities.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science; Masters or Ph.D. preferred.
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Significant background in database internals and large-scale data processing systems.
- Experienced in programming with C++ (17).
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of complex data structures.
- Curiosity about system functionality and a desire to improve.
