Responsibilities
- Develop scripts, tools, and automated pipelines for vulnerability scanning and incident triage.
- Consult and engineer secure-by-design systems through design and code reviews.
- Advocate for secure coding and automation practices among team members.
- Design, develop, and maintain software systems with integrated security best practices.
- Collaborate with security engineers and IT to enhance threat detection and remediation.
- Utilize AI to accelerate analysis and improve the efficiency of security processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate security or security-related software engineering.
- Proficiency in Linux/UNIX, macOS, or Windows internals with a focus on proactive hardening.
- Experience coordinating with IT architectural and infrastructure groups.
- Familiarity with fleet management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
- Cloud computing experience in infrastructure or security.
- Experience in systems security, particularly in hardening corporate identity environments.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to enhance workflow efficiency and quality.
- Strong skills in evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work.
- High integrity and accountability in protecting sensitive data.
