Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable software systems for Amazon Sponsored Products and Brands advertising experiences.
- Own the complete software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, monitoring, maintenance, and operations.
- Develop automated solutions involving distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and user-facing applications.
- Write high-quality production code focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Document system designs and implementation details and communicate project outcomes to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and help establish engineering standards.
- Use generative AI tools to improve developer productivity and software efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and execution optimization.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
