Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and develop backend services and APIs for fraud detection, transaction monitoring, risk scoring, and compliance workflows.
- Collaborate with InfoSec, Data Science, Compliance, and business stakeholders to integrate risk tools and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead initiatives involving SLA adherence, incident management, root cause analysis, observability, and system reliability.
- Build intelligent testing frameworks that generate test cases, predict bugs, support self-healing, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
- Create testing strategies and lead functional, integration, systems, end-to-end, accessibility, database validation, unit testing, and automation efforts.
- Write, test, and deliver production-grade code while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role focused on .NET and C#.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud-native technologies and experience with Azure migration.
- Understanding of queuing mechanisms, multithreading or multitasking, and distributed computing.
- Experience with automated testing, unit testing, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, RESTful API design, OAuth2, microservices, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with risk scoring models, fraud detection systems, compliance automation, and relevant financial-data security and privacy standards.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server and database design.
- Familiarity with AI code assistants such as GitHub Copilot or similar tools.
- Fintech or risk management technology experience, operational knowledge of fraud case management, transaction scoring, or regulatory reporting, and open-source or technical publication contributions are preferred.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship and meet the West Los Angeles location requirement.

- Regular full-time position with a targeted base salary of $121,400 to $173,300 per year.
