Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for the iPaaS and APIM platform.
- Build large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Own projects from design through deployment, with emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop maintainable code and contribute to reliable 24x7x365 systems.
- Work with engineering, product management, and operations teams.
- Debug complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and mentor other engineers.
- Work effectively in a distributed, remote-first team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience with Java and substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications and using microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team.
