Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Advise leadership on applications, networks, information security, databases, operating systems, and web technologies for complex enterprise needs.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex, large-scale engineering and reliability challenges.
- Shape architectural direction and implement innovative technology and business solutions.
- Lead observability, automation, monitoring, resilience, and operational improvements across critical servicing platforms.
- Partner with engineering, product, platform, data, vendor, and global stakeholder teams to maintain a stable and scalable ecosystem.
- Establish engineering standards and maintain visibility into platform health, risks, controls, compliance, and reliability.
- Recommend industry innovations and technologies that improve operations and provide competitive advantage.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 5+ years designing and implementing observability solutions such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud and container platforms including Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB databases and strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with Java-based applications and performance monitoring using JVM metrics and heap/thread analysis.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
- Experience troubleshooting operating-system-level and infrastructure-related issues.
- Experience supporting both commercial off-the-shelf and custom-built applications.
- Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments and a strong analytical, continuous-improvement mindset.
