Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient, message-driven services using Java and Micronaut.
- Build and maintain systems for leverage and collateral management, real-time risk assessment, and automated liquidation.
- Write maintainable code and achieve 80% unit test coverage with end-to-end and integration testing before deployment.
- Optimize payment modules and services for reliability, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
- Research and adopt backend development technologies and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience using modern frameworks such as Micronaut or Spring Boot.
- Java 17 or newer as the primary programming language.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, with Postgres and MongoDB experience preferred.
- Experience creating and maintaining publicly available APIs with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Practical knowledge of message-oriented middleware, ideally Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, or ZeroMQ.
- Understanding of CI/CD and familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes or other public cloud platforms.
