D-Wave SystemsResponsibilities
- Develop algorithms and applications for solving complex problems on D-Wave quantum computers and internal tools.
- Implement, optimize, and own the codebase for commercial quantum applications, primarily in Python.
- Build custom applications for customers and market release.
- Deliver projects successfully to achieve positive business value for customers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal teams to understand requirements and design customized solutions.
- Develop expertise in D-Wave professional services offerings, including LEAP and Ocean.
- Solve challenging real-world problems that directly affect commercial customers’ business success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Python.
- Minimum BSc in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred; a Master’s or PhD is a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and/or mathematics.
- Experience with version control software such as Git.
- Experience implementing complex algorithms.
- Experience building open-source applications for customers or market release.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated creativity, self-motivation, proactivity, flexibility, and passion for writing advanced software.
- Knowledge of NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Networkx is a plus but not required.
