Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end Harness delivery workflows.
- Implement and manage Harness Delegate installations, upgrades, image customizations, and integrations across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Onboard applications to Harness, configure and troubleshoot pipelines, and support containerization and infrastructure-as-code modernization.
- Integrate SAST, SCA, DAST, and container scanners through Harness STO and enforce governance using OPA policies.
- Use Harness AI Agents for pipeline triage, self-healing, remediation, impact analysis, policy enforcement, and workflow optimization.
- Drive adoption of Harness modules including IDP, Feature Management & Experimentation, Chaos Engineering, CCM, and Software Engineering Insights.
- Establish progressive delivery standards including blue-green, canary, rolling deployments, and automated rollback.
- Configure infrastructure for pipeline execution, including Kubernetes clusters, virtual machines, artifact repositories, Git platforms, and cloud services.
- Conduct capability assessments, recommend architecture enhancements, develop transformation roadmaps, and create reusable pipeline assets and documentation.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning through proofs of concept, demos, estimates, presentations, proposals, and customer workshops.
- Mentor engineering teams and deliver enablement sessions on Harness and modern DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Over 12 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, or platform engineering roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Harness Software Delivery Platform, including CI, CD, STO, Chaos, and CCM.
- Practical experience designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines and working with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with Git workflows using GitHub, GitLab, or ADO.
- Proficiency with YAML, Shell scripting, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, security integration, OPA policy creation, and compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience implementing Harness AI Agents for AI-driven policy enforcement, insights, and automated decision workflows.
- Preferred experience with large-scale CI/CD modernization or migration projects, enterprise AppSec workflows, Harness Chaos, FinOps or CCM, pre-sales, solutioning, customer workshops, and technical proposals.
- Kubernetes, cloud, or Harness certifications are desirable.
- Strong architectural thinking, analytical ability, initiative, customer orientation, quality awareness, and verbal and written communication skills.
