Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform.
- Own requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and sustainment of software.
- Diagnose and debug issues using COTS/GOTS tools and internal frameworks.
- Apply networking concepts, socket programming, and protocol knowledge to tool development.
- Develop CNO tools and techniques and respond to time-sensitive cyber problems.
- Reverse engineer native binaries, perform vulnerability analysis, and develop proof-of-concept exploit software.
- Produce documentation for operating, maintaining, and supporting delivered software.
- Mentor and guide junior developers toward mission objectives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and Full Scope Polygraph, or the ability to obtain them.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging in Python and C.
- Experience building UNIX applications with make files or similar build environments.
- Strong socket programming and packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-layer protocols.
- Proficiency with debuggers and tools such as WinDbg, gdb, and IDA Pro.
- Experience reverse engineering native binaries and developing proof-of-concept exploit software.
- Knowledge of OS internals, including runtime linker/loader concepts, object file formats, file-system internals, access-control mechanisms, and process/thread APIs.
- Understanding of ASLR, DEP, NX, mitigation bypass approaches, and bypass detection methods.
- Experience with version control such as git and GitLab.
- Preferred qualifications include native Android/NDK or similar mobile development, vulnerability analysis, ARM assembly, SELinux, application sandboxing, Objective-C, Swift, and C++ experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
