Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing mobile features for more than 100 million customers.
- Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture, design patterns, API design reviews, and reusable component development.
- Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, platform-specific best practices, and technical obstacle removal.
- Develop expertise and establish best practices in mobile performance, accessibility, architecture, quality, and user experience.
- Lead the design and development of client Backend-for-Frontends and Server-Driven UI architectures.
- Define and refine engineering practices for feature flags and staged rollouts.
- Champion agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices.
- Make hands-on technical contributions using advanced native mobile platform capabilities and UI patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience building native mobile applications for Android with Kotlin or iOS with Swift.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of native mobile application development experience and experience with SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Swift Testing, XCUI, JUnit, Espresso, performance optimization, scalable mobile architectures, reusable component libraries, modular architecture, state management, GraphQL, gRPC/Protobuf, SDUI, feature flags, staged rollouts, agentic AI coding tools, CoreML, and TensorFlow Lite.
