Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing mobile features for more than 100 million customers.
- Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture, design patterns, API reviews, and reusable component development.
- Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, platform-specific guidance, and removal of technical obstacles.
- Develop client Backend-for-Frontends and Server-Driven UI architectures for scalable mobile experiences.
- Define engineering practices for feature flags, staged rollouts, quality, performance, accessibility, and testing.
- Make hands-on technical contributions across native mobile platforms and champion AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience building native mobile applications for Android with Kotlin or iOS with Swift.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of native mobile development experience, modern native UI framework experience, mobile automated testing, performance optimization, scalable architecture, reusable component libraries, modular architecture, state management, BFF development, SDUI, staged rollouts, feature flags, agentic AI coding tools, and on-device machine learning frameworks.
