Base Salary
$179k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing mobile features for more than 100 million customers.
- Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture, design patterns, API reviews, and reusable component development.
- Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, platform best practices, and removal of technical obstacles.
- Develop client Backend-for-Frontends and Server-Driven UI architectures for scalable mobile experiences.
- Define engineering practices for feature flags, staged rollouts, quality, performance, accessibility, and testing.
- Champion agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices.
- Make hands-on technical contributions across native mobile platforms and advanced user interface patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience building native Android applications with Kotlin or iOS applications with Swift.
- Preferred experience includes SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Swift Testing, XCUI, JUnit, Espresso, scalable mobile architectures, reusable component libraries, modular architecture, and modern state management.
- Preferred experience includes mobile Backend-for-Frontends using GraphQL and gRPC/Protobuf, Server-Driven UI, staged rollouts, feature flags, agentic AI coding tools, and on-device ML frameworks such as CoreML and TensorFlow Lite.
