Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy new features using React, Typescript, Playwright, Vitest, and Buildkite.
- Own your code, respond to incidents, and participate in on-call rotation.
- Meet the Definition of Done for the software you build.
- Refactor and reduce technical debt.
- Write automated unit and integration tests in a CI/CD environment.
- Manage work using Github, Jira, and Twilio’s build/deploy systems.
- Collaborate with team members and influence platform improvements.
- Participate in design and code reviews, backlog refinements, and agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in your team's domain.
- Document projects you work on.
- Rapidly acquire new technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience with Frontend applications using modern JavaScript technologies, preferably React and Typescript.
- Experience developing and implementing testing strategies using automated testing frameworks like Playwright and Cypress.
- Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of modern automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Champion good engineering habits including development and test techniques, security, and automation.
- Experience in triaging and solving production issues.
- Positive attitude and aptitude to learn quickly as part of a SCRUM team.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Good team player with the ability to communicate well in a remote work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
