Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend components.
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to solve user problems.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and bug-free code.
- Participate in technical and product reviews and close assigned code reviews.
- Participate in the team on-call rotation and support operational excellence.
- Support the DevOps and Infrastructure teams within the scope of assigned services.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to peers.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering; Computer Science or Information Technology specialization is advantageous.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, particularly Go, and strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of distributed backend systems using SQL or NoSQL databases and Redis caches.
- Kubernetes and Kafka experience is advantageous.
- Ability to balance product, engineering, and business needs, with demonstrated proactivity and creativity.
- Exposure to Agile, weekly sprint, and release working models.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
