Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and maintain software capabilities using industry-standard frameworks.
- Develop microservices, standalone code, interfaces, software tests, and automation scripts using object-oriented and scripting languages.
- Use GitLab lifecycle management tools, Git pull requests, issue boards, and program or project workflows.
- Interact with external applications and environments, including AI agents and AWS GovCloud-hosted resources.
- Collaborate with software engineering and cross-functional engineering teams and interface with customers, users, and technical support personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or a minimum of five years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Ability to work independently and decompose complex or difficult coding problems.
- Demonstrated individual software development contribution and ability to collaborate with software and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and third-party applications used in tactical and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with SQL-based databases, AstroUX, and Terraform/Ansible or similar infrastructure and automation tools.
- TS/SCI clearance is required to start.
- Git, microservices architecture, Docker, and containerization knowledge are desired.
