Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and maintain software capabilities using industry-standard frameworks.
- Develop microservices, standalone code, interfaces, software tests, and automation scripts using object-oriented and scripting languages.
- Work within the GitLab application lifecycle management suite, including Git pull requests and GitLab issue boards.
- Interact with external applications and environments, including AI agents and AWS GovCloud-hosted resources.
- Collaborate with software engineering and cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Interface with customers, application users, and technical and support personnel as needed.
Requirements
- BA or BS in a related engineering field or a minimum of five years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Ability to work independently and decompose complex or difficult coding problem sets.
- Demonstrated individual software development contribution and ability to collaborate with software development and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and third-party applications used in tactical and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with SQL-based databases, AstroUX, and Terraform/Ansible or similar infrastructure and automation tools.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, is desired.
- Understanding of microservices architecture principles is desired.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerization concepts is desired.
- Minimum TS/SCI clearance required to start.
