Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Build and maintain algorithms and applications that integrate reliably with surrounding systems.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating outputs.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large and diverse data sets to improve applications and systems.
  • Identify hidden problems and data patterns and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute reusable AI-assisted development patterns and guide peers on safe and effective usage.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Strong experience with Python, Databricks, AWS, and building and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
