Responsibilities
- Perform embedded firmware verification and integration testing on target hardware.
- Test embedded networking protocols and debug issues across L2, L3, and Linux environments.
- Develop and use Python-based automation for validation and reporting.
- Use network debugging and source code management tools to support firmware development and testing.
- Improve automation frameworks and validation efficiency where appropriate.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in embedded networking, protocol testing, and firmware validation.
- Strong knowledge of at least one communication technology: 802.15, Wi-Fi, 802.11, LTE, or Bluetooth.
- Understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Python-based automation; C# knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with embedded firmware verification, integration testing, and embedded Linux environments.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or Perforce and network debugging tools such as Wireshark.
- Strong debugging, communication, and presentation skills.
- Preferred qualifications include smart metering experience, ADS experience, CCNA or CCNP certification, automation-framework experience, and familiarity with AI-enabled developer or test tools.
