Base Salary
$162k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with Mercury teams to identify where AI can improve business outcomes.
- Partner with functional leaders to define measurable success criteria and KPIs before building.
- Build and ship AI-powered workflows, automations, and internal tools using the AI Engineering platform.
- Test and iterate solutions until they produce measurable results.
- Lead change management through implementation, training, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Create durable handoffs with reliable tools, operating documentation, and accountable team owners.
- Develop the AI Operations playbook, including embed success criteria, timelines, handoff requirements, and prioritization.
Requirements
- Have 4–7 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, product operations, or a similar role owning business outcomes end to end.
- Have hands-on experience building AI agents, workflows, automations, or internal tools.
- Be comfortable defining and defending KPIs, plans, and builds in ambiguous environments.
- Be fluent with APIs, low-code and no-code builders, and SQL.
- Be able to explain and promote new tools and workflows to skeptical or initially uninterested teams.
