Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production software.
  • Build Java and Spring Boot backend systems, APIs, transactional workflows, database integrations, and real-time data ingestion pipelines.
  • Develop enterprise React applications and contribute to big-data platforms, ETL pipelines, and cloud data warehousing.
  • Manage containerized applications, serverless queries, cloud security controls, monitoring, observability, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Drive technical decisions, research automation methods, and influence product design and technical operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and conduct technical interviews.
  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams on requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure product quality through unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Seven years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, Application Developer, Technical Lead, or related occupation.
  • Five years of experience developing Java backend systems with JDK 8 or higher, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
  • Five years of experience integrating AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases, optimizing queries, and managing transactional workflows.
  • Five years of experience managing real-time data ingestion pipelines with Kafka and RabbitMQ and designing MongoDB aggregation pipelines and indexes.
  • Three years of experience executing AWS Athena queries and deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes, Helm, and Karpenter.
  • Experience with Java concurrency frameworks including Akka, React, Redux Toolkit, React Router v6+, ADFS, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, AWS IAM, ALB, NLB, WAF, Datadog, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.
  • Experience designing big-data platforms and ETL pipelines, enabling on-premises-to-cloud file transfers, configuring security and observability features, and implementing CI/CD workflows.
