Base Salary
$190k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital-assets technology solutions and high-performance, low-latency trading software.
- Develop distributed applications, complex projects, components, and subsystems across multiple platforms.
- Participate in architecture design, define application-level architecture, and create original technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize trading and crypto-trading algorithms.
- Review test plans, recommend development testing tools and methodologies, and ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Create documentation, project life-cycle plans, schedules, assignments, risk strategies, and technical estimates for multiple projects.
- Act as a liaison with business units, resolve technology issues, advise senior management on technical strategy, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in one of those fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and implementing digital-assets technology solutions using Agile methodologies in an electronic trading environment.
- Demonstrated expertise developing distributed, low-latency, high-throughput applications and applying CI/CD and DevOps principles throughout the software development life cycle.
- Experience developing, testing, monitoring, and supporting applications using Java, Python, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS.
- Experience using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, and Sonar for CI/CD.
- Experience developing and maintaining cloud-based solutions with AWS, EC2, and EKS, and debugging observability with Datadog and Prometheus.
