Responsibilities
- Own testing for new features, bug fixes, and enhancements, including functional, regression, and product validation activities.
- Write and maintain automated UI, API, integration, and performance tests and perform data validation for multi-tiered, data-driven applications.
- Create and maintain project test plans, document problems, and assist with resolution.
- Define and track QA metrics including defects, test results, and test status.
- Support product deployments and help ensure application and environment stability.
- Collect and analyze software process data, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality and process improvements.
- Use automation and AI-powered quality engineering tools to improve testing efficiency, defect analysis, release cycles, and software reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a master’s or advanced degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of QA experience testing web applications.
- Expertise in API and integration testing, including REST APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Postman, with Playwright preferred, and experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Java, with Python preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-powered testing and quality tools including GitHub Copilot, Copilot, Claude, and Gemini.
- Experience with test management and collaboration platforms including Jira, Zephyr Scale, Confluence, and Harness.
- Working knowledge of SQL and preferred proficiency with Salesforce.
- Ability to collaborate proactively, solve problems, take ownership, and communicate in English and relevant working-market languages where applicable.
