Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and existing solutions.
- Prepare and maintain requirements traceability across business requirements, functional requirements, designs, and test cases.
- Create user stories and develop, configure, and maintain software components and full-stack applications.
- Design and implement REST API web services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop ReactJS frontend interfaces and integrate them with backend REST APIs.
- Build automation scripts for repetitive tasks in CI/CD, testing, and other processes.
- Create and execute test cases, including unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and other appropriate testing types.
- Track, analyze, and resolve defects and troubleshoot application performance and availability issues.
- Monitor application metrics, analyze logs and performance data, and perform corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance.
- Evaluate change requests and monitor project milestones and timelines.
- Apply security policy requirements during software development and configuration.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of these fields plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience designing and implementing REST API web services with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing ReactJS user interfaces with component-based architecture and full-stack applications integrating ReactJS with backend REST APIs.
- Experience with object-oriented programming in Java and JavaScript and with writing and optimizing SQL queries for relational databases.
- Experience designing end-to-end and integration tests using Cucumber, Playwright, and R2C.
- Experience designing alerting and monitoring using MMS and OpenObserve.
- Experience containerizing applications with Docker and using AJAX and Fetch API for asynchronous HTTP communication.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues through log analysis and root-cause investigation.
- Experience with unit testing and mock objects using JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience debugging and optimizing frontend applications with browser developer tools and performance profiling.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
