Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops to understand clients’ current and target technical architectures.
- Translate complex requirements into solution designs and client-specific “to-be” architectures.
- Define integration patterns and estimate work packages for implementation programmes.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams on base solution architectures, technical presentations, tenders, and customer proposals.
- Partner with Pre-Sales Engineering to design proof-of-concept exercises.
- Travel to client sites across the UK, Europe, and beyond as required.
- Represent client needs to product architecture and engineering teams and help inform the product roadmap.
- Advise clients on measurable business outcomes and support commercial discussions by quantifying platform value.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise software implementations, preferably enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Experience building and architecting systems, including AWS, finance and billing platforms, or API technologies such as GraphQL and webhooks.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to architects, C-suite stakeholders, and other audiences.
- Customer-centric and analytical approach focused on solving the right problems and measuring success.
- Experience working autonomously across multiple workstreams in an evolving environment.
- Experience in regulated energy retail, particularly billing, metering, and settlements systems, is preferred.
- Experience architecting large-scale software systems or SaaS solutions in the energy industry is advantageous.
- Experience working with or for a large energy retailer is advantageous.
