Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and implement observability solutions that provide actionable insights into system behavior.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and service availability.
- Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, help manage the team, and make team decisions.
- Lead process improvements that enhance productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SRE observability.
- Proficiency in SRE observability, DevOps, AWS, Java, and GCP.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools for system reliability and performance.
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
- Ability to design and implement observability solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments and infrastructure as code.
- 15 years of full-time education.
