Base Salary

$96k - $120k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Deliver mission-aligned architectural design and execution of Collibra products for federal customers while following delivery models, engagement processes, methodologies, artifacts, and applicable government security standards.
  • Provide federal agencies with tailored data governance strategies, best practices, knowledge transfer, and measurable business and mission outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Engineering, Product, Support, and Executive teams to align with federal acquisition cycles and stakeholder priorities.
  • Lead blueprinting, design workshops, requirements gathering, functional and technical specification development, and resolution of client connectivity and technical software issues.
  • Identify account expansion opportunities by aligning Collibra capabilities with agency mandates, modernization efforts, and compliance requirements.
  • Support customer onboarding, adoption, utilization goals, long-term program engagement, renewals, and repeatable delivery excellence.

Requirements

  • Required: 5–10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies with knowledge of data governance, data management, or data quality.
  • Required: At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, network-based API integration using REST/JSON, and deployment automation.
  • Required: Understanding of PaaS providers, data lakes, databases, and integration platforms commonly used by federal agencies.
  • Required: Linux CLI proficiency and hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and platforms.
  • Required: Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
  • Required: U.S. citizenship, residence on U.S. soil, and active Secret, TS, or TS-SCI security clearance.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos.
  • Preferred: Experience with data quality, data pipelines, data orchestration, job control tools, data warehousing, ETL, and data integration.
  • Preferred: Proficiency using APIs through Java, Python, or similar scripting languages in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, or business rules management, and experience with Collibra or comparable technologies.
  • Preferred: Strong communication, customer focus, accountability, troubleshooting, learning, and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $96,000–$120,000 per year, with additional commission-based compensation.

  • Preferably located in the Washington, D.C. metro area, with an on-site requirement of up to 50% for federal customer engagements.
