Responsibilities
- Own and administer Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, sharing rules, and permission sets.
- Manage user lifecycle, roles, profiles, permissions, data access governance, and platform security.
- Maintain data accuracy through validation, deduplication, imports and exports, audits, and backups.
- Design and implement Salesforce Flows, approval processes, user-interface customizations, metadata, and operational workflows.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics for business stakeholders.
- Perform platform maintenance, critical patches, seasonal releases, and weekly deployments using CI/CD tools or changesets.
- Support third-party integrations and investigate production issues, bugs, and integration failures.
- Identify and remediate technical debt to improve Salesforce scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to define and deliver enhancements.
- Mentor junior team members on operational support, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- B.E. or equivalent qualification, with Salesforce Administrator Certification and Salesforce PD1 required.
- 7–12 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development.
- Hands-on Salesforce deployment experience using CI/CD or changesets is preferred.
- Experience with Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and/or CPQ Clouds.
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governance standards, release management, and platform updates.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, troubleshooting, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Additional Salesforce certifications and active Salesforce community involvement are preferred.
