Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
- Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives, needs, and budgets.
- Provide consultative technical guidance to customers and act as a trusted IT advisor alongside Field Account Executives.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
- Provide product training, technical education, and technical-selling guidance to sales teams and customers.
- Manage the solution-practice pipeline, develop strategies for top prospects, and acquire new business.
- Identify technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services.
- Engage CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client stakeholders in comprehensive account management.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products, including switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, and Meraki, plus familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace.
- Strong knowledge of route/switch, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud edge, virtual networking, secure access, and network visibility solutions.
- Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and articulating value propositions.
- Experience with comparable products and solutions from vendors such as Aruba, Juniper, HPE, and Arista.
- Experience with software-defined networking technologies including SDDC, SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE.
- Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, or ACSP are listed as qualifications.
- Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.
