Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Build and enhance hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, and page-object-model test automation frameworks.
- Test frontend UI, backend API, and database components for comprehensive coverage.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
- Identify, log, and track defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Perform API testing, SQL-based backend data validation, and quality reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and communicate testing progress and quality metrics.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on automation testing experience, including experience with banking projects.
- At least 2 years of strong hands-on experience with Playwright using Python.
- Experience designing automation scripts and building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong Python programming skills for test scripting.
- Strong API testing experience using Postman or REST APIs.
- Experience using SQL for backend data validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Banking domain experience is highly preferred.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing is preferred.
