Responsibilities
- Review requirements and design specifications and develop test plans and test cases.
- Automate API, end-to-end, reliability, scale, and critical-feature tests.
- Work with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts.
- Communicate and document quality-engineering plans for scrum teams.
- Review application code, identify bugs and weaknesses, and architect tools for future test coverage.
- Release high-quality features and respond to production alerts and customer issues during on-call rotations.
- Advocate for customers and maintain a strong quality focus.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of quality-engineering experience, preferably in an enterprise SaaS company.
- At least 3 years of quality-engineering experience with enterprise-level software.
- At least 5 years of Python- or Java-based automation-development experience.
- Familiarity with Selenium, TestCafe, Postman, JMeter, Locust, Splunk, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in test planning and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to write and review designs and code with team members.
- Ability to deliver well-designed, high-quality code on time.
- Experience with non-HTTP protocols such as SSH, RDP, TLS, and LDAP.
- Experience with networking concepts including IP addressing, routing, and firewalls.
- Performance-testing experience is a strong plus.

- Annual base salary range of $118,000–$162,000 CAD for candidates located in Canada.
