Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive end-to-end test strategies and plans for complex, high-risk platforms and projects.
- Own test approaches, test delivery, test architecture activities, and advanced test development support.
- Act as an SDET or Journey Test Lead across multiple platforms and lines of business.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, test data management, service virtualization, and test environment provisioning solutions.
- Provide quality engineering expertise, troubleshoot complex issues, and influence multiple development teams.
- Contribute early to software design and development to ensure built-in quality and efficient test approaches.
- Apply advanced testing and automation techniques, including BDD and machine learning, and lead their implementation.
- Drive collaboration and delivery of quality solutions across product teams and business areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong academic background in software engineering or computer science.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Rest Assured, Selenium, and Appium.
- Advanced experience with software configuration, code, and release management.
- Advanced knowledge of test architecture frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, and procedures.
- In-depth expertise in test planning, design, automation, and execution.
- Expertise with architecture blueprints, logical data models, quality engineering frameworks, and efficient test approach design.
- Advanced debugging, problem-solving, stakeholder consultation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work autonomously on complex issues and lead delivery across medium- to high-complexity scopes.
- Experience applying advanced testing and automation techniques such as BDD and machine learning.
