Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable product features.
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers, and engineers to meet business and user needs.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and BlaBlaCar architecture principles.
- Integrate features with existing systems and collaborate with other teams.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Share technical expertise with technical, product, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute proactively to the Front-End Web Engineering Chapter.
- Support, coach, and mentor another engineer in web technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.
- First experience with Git, Docker, Node.js, and observability solutions.
- Full working proficiency in English.
- Ability to take ownership and work collaboratively in a fast-growing environment.
- Interest in AI-assisted coding and agentic workflows.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- Experience with SEO and web performance optimization is preferred.
- Mobile and backend development experience is preferred.
