Full Stack Java Developer | Spring Boot, Angular/React, Microservices, Kafka, Docker & Kubernetes
SynechronResponsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, web services, SQL, Postgres, and Angular or React.
- Design and implement backend services, user interface components, APIs, integrations, databases, and Kafka-based event-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain API integrations using Mulesoft and/or Apigee.
- Build, package, deploy, and support applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Translate business requirements into functional, technical, and system requirements and support planning, estimation, clarification, and technical execution.
- Participate in all software development lifecycle phases, Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, documentation, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, IT teams, Business teams, and distributed cross-functional groups.
- Apply secure, maintainable, reusable, resource-efficient, and high-quality software development practices.
Requirements
- 7–15 years of industry experience with strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, web services, SQL database development, UI frameworks, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Angular and/or React, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Mulesoft and/or Apigee.
- Experience designing, developing, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, multithreading, relational databases, data modeling, transactions, and performance optimization.
- Preferred experience with Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, concurrent or distributed applications, Jenkins, Sonar, Cucumber, Selenium, Autosys, Unix scripting, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and release automation.
- Ability to develop secure applications and APIs and address authentication, authorization, access control, data protection, vulnerability, and secure deployment concerns.
- Financial services experience and relevant technical training or certifications are preferred.
