Base Salary

$95k - $121k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications and services using C#, Rust, and related technologies.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions for high-volume transaction processing.
  • Design and implement APIs, JSON-based data integrations, and services.
  • Analyze, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance inbound and outbound EDI transaction processing.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy and platform modernization.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to software engineers and developers.
  • Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and benefits subject matter experts to align solutions with industry standards and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus typically 2–3 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Rust, with the position overview also emphasizing C#.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud-based data solutions.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, distributed systems, EDI transactions, and healthcare and benefits processes.
  • Ability to use AI tools and develop intelligent prompts and/or agents.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to deliver robust, scalable data solutions and troubleshoot complex data workflows with minimal supervision.
