Base Salary
$95k - $121k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications and services using C#, Rust, and related technologies.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions for high-volume transaction processing.
- Design and implement APIs, JSON-based data integrations, and services.
- Analyze, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance inbound and outbound EDI transaction processing.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy and platform modernization.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to software engineers and developers.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare and benefits subject matter experts to align solutions with industry standards and business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus typically 2–3 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Rust, with the position overview also emphasizing C#.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud-based data solutions.
- Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, distributed systems, EDI transactions, and healthcare and benefits processes.
- Ability to use AI tools and develop intelligent prompts and/or agents.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to deliver robust, scalable data solutions and troubleshoot complex data workflows with minimal supervision.
