Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical-debt reduction, and performance improvement.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and evaluate emerging tools and practices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala.
- Preferred: experience with databases, AWS/GCP/Azure, open-source frameworks, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, and Git-based version control.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting cloud environments, using AI-based coding tools and IDE copilots, mentoring engineers, applying observability, leading technical initiatives, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
