Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services and APIs for OneRail’s logistics platform.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using Node.js and modern backend technologies.
- Manage data interchange with third-party services, internal microservices, and data stores.
- Apply security, scalability, performance, testing, debugging, and code quality best practices.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize processes.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Document technical specifications and architectural decisions.
- Automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend development experience, or 6+ years for the senior position.
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, or similar databases.
- Understanding of Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Advanced written and spoken English proficiency at B2+ level.
