Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable, reliable software solutions using core Java, Kafka, caching, and other modern technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure high code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Design, implement, and operate caching solutions for cloud-based, high-throughput systems.
- Use logging, metrics, and tracing tools to monitor and troubleshoot live systems.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong software development experience, including developing and supporting cloud-based infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem-solving.
- Experience with Redis or Valkey cache solutions in cloud-based, high-throughput systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
- Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with APIs or gRPC services, automated deployment pipelines, open-source contributions, or passion projects is preferred.
