Base Salary
$125k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain platform services, APIs, infrastructure components, data services, authentication, and integration frameworks.
- Design reusable platform components, service interfaces, microservices, and solutions for complex integrations with internal systems and external partners.
- Address platform bugs, performance bottlenecks, incidents, security requirements, compliance needs, and reliability standards.
- Work with data modeling, master data management, enterprise data governance, canonical source-of-truth systems, and data integrity.
- Support cloud-native architectures, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline development, and modern deployment practices.
- Partner with application engineering, security, compliance, and stakeholder teams while documenting platform capabilities and integration patterns.
- Provide technical guidance on platform adoption, best practices, and platform constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience focused on platform or infrastructure development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar languages, with experience building APIs, services, or platform components.
- Experience with API design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, enterprise integration patterns, and service-oriented architecture.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure resources including AKS, App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Storage Accounts.
- Understanding of databases, data modeling, enterprise data patterns, SQL Server database design and optimization, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with message queues, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of enterprise security practices, financial services regulatory requirements, object-oriented analysis and design, SOLID principles, and Microsoft Graph APIs.
- Knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code, and Blitzy AI, plus familiarity with iterative development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
