Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the design, implementation, and evolution of complex systems and features using secure, reliable, and high-quality engineering practices.
- Partner with engineering, product, design, privacy, security, and reliability teams to deliver impactful product outcomes.
- Lead code reviews, design reviews, testing, automation, operational readiness, and responsible AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues while improving observability, resiliency, and operational processes.
- Mentor engineers, share technical expertise, and help guide effective technical decisions.
- Improve developer productivity, engineering systems, and operational processes through automation and AI-powered tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree and experience combination.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with teams outside the organization and apply continuous learning to business improvements is preferred.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $119,800-$234,700 per year; the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area have a separate stated range.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position will remain open for a minimum of 5 days and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
