Responsibilities
- Build complex, scalable, high-performance distributed systems and data products end to end.
- Design and write code that reflects product requirements and functionality.
- Contribute to code quality, technical solutions, algorithms, and product ideas.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, proof-of-concepts, and show-and-tell sessions.
- Work with development, testing, and cross-technology teams on development strategies and plans.
Requirements
- At least 8–12 years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong experience with Java or Go.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or Windsurf in design, development, and testing.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience building large asynchronous task systems and scalable distributed systems with microservices architecture.
- Preferred experience with Spring or Spring Boot.
- Preferred experience with Docker or other configuration management tools.
- Preferred hands-on experience with RESTful web services and responsive web design patterns.
- Preferred expertise with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with 12-Factor application development principles.
